Really clever, but 3 things are missing: I would like to be able to WRITE stuff in this app, like in the iPad one. This should also be a universal iPhone/iPad app, and there should be sync!

This has to be the best calculator Ive ever used. Not a day goes by that I dont use Soulver on either my Mac or my iPhone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I didnt know how much I needed this. Im numlexic *and* a programmer so this is more than useful. Found it via marco.org so thanks to him too. Will get Mac version as well.

A lovely app to calculate percentages with ease and the line function is phenominal.

I am very impressed with the intellegence of the interface. This app should prove a useful addition to my phone. It is also the first app I was inspired to review.

The ability to write text in the 1.1 update changed everything. It was an ok app, now it has become the perfect app for quick budgets. Thanks Acqualia

This app is now my default calculator. It is easy to use and intuitive. With currencies and new options, this is definitively a great product!

Ver1 Would love to see variables. Would be perfect then. Could write A+B=C then A=10 B=6 ?C etc.... Thank you Ver2 2 more features would a perfect app. Algebra A + 5 = 7 would place the value of 2 into the variable A. :) Also the conversion function from the Mac app, (10 minutes as seconds). AWSOME!

Soulver has earned a place on my home screen. Instant calculations, ability to add notes, and the easy-to-use line-reference feature and editing of past calculations are the biggest draws for me. Tried and like the Digits app as well, but prefer Soulver by a wide margin.

I bought Soulver on 08/09/10 and put it on my home screen. It hasnt moved since. By far the best calculator app in the App Store.

I buried Calculator in the backyard. Soulver does everything better. Worth every penny.

This is the next generation of the calculator on the computer and iPhone. I love the line by line display of calculations. With the ability to update variable references, and make line references, this calculator app blows the stock calculator out of the water. It’s a wonderfully simple and easy to use hybrid between old-style calculators and more powerful math programs like Mathematica.

Because its the only calculator app that does everything I need.
