I use Soulver whenever I need to branch simple calculations. For example, I recently remodeled a closet and had to calculate : - the wall square footage in order to estimate how much paint Id need - the perimeter in order to determine how much trim to buy When installing the trim, I didnt have to re measure because I already had the raw measurements in Soulver. Then, as a bonus, those same raw measurements proved invaluable when we went to The Container Store to design the Elfa storage. All of this could have been done in a spreadsheet, of course, but That would be both heavy-handed and harder to read.

I use a calculator on my iPhone, iPad and desktop a lot, so Ive used a lot of apps. The one feature I continually need is to see past calculations so I can compare values, reuse results, etc. Other calc apps tapes, memory, etc. sometimes get the job done—Soulver makes it SUPER easy! See past calculations, reuse results, edit/reuse past entries, even set up variables to check different results. Its a great simple calculator or as powerful as a complex spreadsheet formula builder. If you need the ability to see or reuse a history of calculations, this is DEFINITELY the best app. The fact that it can sync between iPhone, iPad and desktop is some bonus awesome!

Soulver is both a great quick calculator and a powerful spreadsheet replacement. New update improves both aspects. Great tool on my first home screen for years.

I use Soulver to calculate my printing printing price such as calendar & flyer. It is very helpful and easy using Soulver. If i can add any functionality on Soulver, maybe the IF function like in Microsoft Excel. Another tips that I want to add is whatif my calculation in Soulver become too many, you should think about Grouping or Filtering the Draft based on the Title or date of created, it will boost the search of the draft. thank you developer

One of the best calculator and worth the price tag but it needs an update for iOS 8.1. Very very slow load times on 8.1, iPhone 6.

Use this app on regular basis together w the Mac version. Easy to use. Export to pdf for archiving and sharing.

This app is beyond useful, both personal numbers but especially for showing math to others. My job is adding up different options for people, and This app makes it super kick to just add up a few options and show the comparison. My only request is put the option to have a dollar sign in front of all numbers, ala how you can have cells formatted to show dollar currency in excel.

Soulver is a smart way to do calculations thats flexible like a spreadsheet, but far easier to create and manipulate. Ive already found uses for it, and I enjoy coming across questions that make me think, "Sweet, Soulver will be perfect for this." This happens fairly often.

THANK YOU for such an awesome app! My only suggestion would be to implement Handoff support - for those who have Soulver on iOS and Mac, I think the total spent on both apps warrants it. I use this app everyday at work and at home. It’s easy to use and powerful for ORGANISING and TAGGING your expenses and calculations in general. The iCloud sync is also great - keeps all my Soulver docs in sync and available everywhere (phone, ipad, Mac).

Awesome calculator app but the icon is AWFUL. Please make it something simple/calculator-like to match the native iOS look!

This is a really great app that implements a great idea, but I didnt realize how much words slow me down when Im just trying to bottom-line numbers. If you like to verbally work out math problems, you may find this helpful. If youre an engineer or a programmer, give Calca a try instead.

Great app. One key missing piece is that while iPhone and syncs through other iOS devices, it doesn’t sync between mobile app and desktop app. I bought thinking it would do that but it doesn’t.

Often my list of documents will simply be empty, or Ill have duplicates due to sync issues. Theres absolutely zero reason this should happen when using iCloud. If I cant trust an app with my data, Im forced to give it 1 star.

Its barely been updated since December 2013 and behaves erratically and annoyingly a lot of the time. I miss when it worked; these days its more of a hindrance than anything.

The app itself is great. I use it on my Mac, IPhone 6 & iPad Air 2 running the latest softwares. I rate it 2 stars due to the constant syncing issues w/ iCloud Drive. Often the is a conflict w/ file versions & I then have to reset my iCloud sync cache which doesnt work sometimes. I have ZERO issues with all my other iOS apps such as "1Password" so I know the issue is on the app itself. Pls fix this developers

Why in the hell is this not the default calc app in every phone?? Its so efficient, convenient, good looking, and simple. So happy I found this one!
